The public first came to enjoy Eddie's ability at various characters on "Saturday Night Live".  In movies, he began with action hits such as "48 Hours" and "Beverly Hills Cop" and numerous comedies.   In recent years, he has been making more family pictures such as "Dr. Doolittle" and "The Nutty Professor".  He has added two cartoon characters to his repertoire, the most recent being for "Shrek".   Throughout, he remains a remarkable actor.  His skill with voices and dialects make all the amazing makeup designs very believable.    Here are just a few of his many remarkable "faces":
