Who would have ever thought watching "Bill and Ted's Excellent Adventure" that Keanu Reeves would turn into a leading man?  Or, that he would take on such a variety of roles such as "Little Buddha" or doing Shakespeare in "Much Ado About Nothing"?  "Speed" made him an action star, but he is not afraid to take on darker roles, such as in "The Gift" or romantic roles, such "A Walk in the Clouds".  With the amazing success of "The Matrix",  I am sure he will have the opportunity on take on many more interesting role choices.
